CYCF unites Banyamulenge youth across the diaspora and Minembwe for fellowship, mentorship, and servant leadership.
The Chachu Youth Community Fellowship (CYCF) is CHACHU’s program for young people—the same generation that founded the organization in 2016. CYCF creates space for youth to grow together, stay connected to Minembwe, and become leaven for a wealthy and healthy community.
Where our Education program keeps children in school, CYCF invests in the next generation of leaders, volunteers, and community builders.
Banyamulenge youth and young adults in the diaspora and in Minembwe who want to belong, serve, and grow with CHACHU.
CYCF is open to members and friends of the CHACHU community.
CYCF brings young people together through fellowship gatherings, mentorship, and opportunities to serve. The program strengthens bonds between diaspora youth and those in Minembwe—so the community stays united across distance and hardship.
Regular gatherings—in person and online—where youth connect, pray, learn, and encourage one another.
Young members learn from CHACHU leaders and advisors who model servant leadership and community commitment.
Hands-on involvement in CHACHU’s mission, from supporting education to volunteering at events and outreach.
CHACHU was founded by students who believed one generation could transform a community. CYCF carries that founding spirit forward—raising up youth who will lead CHACHU and serve Minembwe for years to come.
In Swahili, chachu means leaven. CYCF is where that leaven is cultivated among young people.
